I am a Musculoskeletal Physical Therapist/ Physiotherapist, with a passion for functional anatomy, patient education, movement therapy and traditional hands-on physical therapy and of course Pilates and movement.

My belief in utilising evidence based therapy with my patients and clients allow me to effectively treat a host of common physiological injuries and pathologies. I believe that what's important to my patient is important to their recovery and of course, every body and every person's experience of movement is unique.

My constant desire to learn has me studying a second physiotherapy honours degree at the European School of Physiotherapy in Amsterdam, a super competitive programme which is keeping me on the cutting edge of modern evidence based physio protocols.

A previous corporate career woman, I found Pilates and movement rehabilitation after ankle surgery. The rehabilitation process fascinated me and as a result, the bug bit me hard. I developed an insatiable curiosity about the body and since then, I've never looked back. My ever-deepening hunger to learn and love of anatomy and movement took me to a career change into physiotherapy & Pilates.

Hailing from sunny South Africa, I strongly believe that in order to improve the quality of a patient's motion patterns and to effectively teach movement, it is my responsibility as a physiotherapist to deeply understand the anatomy and biomechanics of the body as it moves through space and at the same time, to be well able to make those complex concepts accessible to everyone through patient education.

I am a reformer Pilates, barre and mat Pilates teacher with over 6 years teaching experience. I am also currently undertaking a yoga teacher training certification.  My continuous studies, curiosity, a healthy dash of movement obsession, and a keen eye allows me to programme classes and private sessions that target and address unhealthy movement patterns, whilst simultaneously lengthening and toning the entire body.

Join me on the mat for an unforgettable and more-ish movement journey, get to know your anatomy, get strong, learn about your body, and take ownership of your human experience.

Excellent class, taught very well using zoom technology. Feels as good as being back in a live class. Always changing with moves rarely repeated, really keeps it interesting.”

"Christine's classes are like magic: I feel stronger, fitter and move better. Her energy and positivity somehow make it feel like you're in a real studio. The classes fly by and are the perfect combo of stretch and burn. Cannot recommend highly enough."
